In a departure from its more usual programme Beeston Camera Club staged a practical evening which gave newcomers the opportunity to learn new skills based on the experience and knowledge of more experienced members. Similar sessions may be held in the future depending on the feedback received. The Beeston club goes from strength to strength in attracting new members, perhaps not surprising given the increasing interest in photography as a result of the digital revolution. No previous experience is necessary to join, and a warm welcome is given to everyone who turns up at the 8pm Thursday meetings at the Victory Club, Station Road.
